The Back Room builds on myriad publishing efforts, including SPT’s Traffic Report, a two-year project full of poetry, conversations, essays, and more. Before I was editor of TBR, I had the pleasure of doing a little editing for Traffic Report; it was a great reminder of the depth and variety of Bay Area literary traditions. 

With TBR up and running, Traffic Report won’t be publishing any new online commissions. But the archive will remain, as one more example of the many ways in which Small Press Traffic has supported, celebrated, and explored the work and lives of artists and writers here and afar. We hope you’ll take the time to visit now and again.
