We are thrilled to present Classics Illustrated, the newest series of paintings by artist Francie Shaw. Join us for an exhibition opening on Saturday, April 6 to see these works up close and hear Shaw talk about her work and process.

Snacks and drinks will be provided. Doors at 4, artist talk at 5pm.

Classics Illustrated will be on view in the Right Window of Artists' Television Access for the month of April by appointment or during open hours on Saturday, 1 - 4 pm.

Co-organized by Norma Cole, collective member of Right Window.

Francie Shaw

Francie Shaw is an artist living in Berkeley. She started her career in SF in the 70's and then moved east. She was a member of A.I.R. Gallery in NYC where she had 8 one person shows. In 2018 she moved back to Berkeley with her husband, the poet Bob Perelman. She has made several books with Bob, the most available being "Playing Bodies" (Granary Books). She began working on this series "Classics Illustrated" in the pandemic.
